If your iPad screen is cracked, please do the following:

  • Email helpdesk@portergaud.edu to let us know it is broken.
  • Check your iCloud status to see the latest back-up of your data:
    • Go to Settings > iCloud > Backup
    • If needed, select 'Back Up Now' to make a current backup.
  • Bring the broken iPad to the Helpdesk™ in S&T 114 for an exchange.
    • The exchange process will probably take about 20-30 minutes, so budget your time accordingly.
    • We will walk you through the steps to copy the broken iPad and move the data to the replacement.
  • The Business Office will send a bill for $50 to cover the exchange cost.
